One dead in motorcycle accident
KATHMANDU: A pillion rider died on the spot in a road accident at Sunawal in Nawalparasi district along East-West highway this afternoon.
The deceased has been identified as Nanda Lal Kalwar, 33, of Pratappur-9 in the district.
The accident took place when a jeep (Lu 1 Ja 4299) heading towards east from west hit the motorcycle (Lu 8 Pa 8047) coming from opposite direction, said Assistant Sub-inspector at the District Traffic Police Office, Nawalparasi, Prem Shrestha.
Police have arrested the jeep driver and impounded the jeep. RSS
