One arrested with banned drugs
KATHMANDU: A man has been arrested by Nepal police in possession of banned narcotics. Biraj Thapa,26, was arrested from Khadipakha in ward no-3 of Kathmandu metropolis.
A team from the metropolitan police range in Maharajgunj arrested him along with a bagful of banned drugs, DSP at the range Fanindra Prasain said. Police seized 104 ampoules each of phenergan, diazepam and Nurofen from Thapa.
Further investigation is underway while action has been initiated against Thapa.
