NRNs in Germany stress on improving ties with stakeholders
DAYA RAM PAUDEL: Non Residential Nepalese residing in the Belfast region have mulled on ways to strengthen their activism with local social organizations and towards increasing coordination with NRN-International Coordination Council.
During the meeting held on 29 July, NRN-Germany Vice President Krishna Prasad Gautam while expressing commitment to increase coordination with local social organizations called on participants to discuss on the means to do it.
He promised to take special initiatives at the central level for increasing the reach and coordination of NRN-Belfast chapter with local community based organizations and urged all the stakeholders to assist him in the mission.
NRN-German advisor Bijay Moktan also elaborated on the setbacks of not coordinating with local and regional community welfare organizations on the occasion. He called on all to improve mutual ties with those organizations and urged NRN-Germany to establish cordial ties with NRN-ICC.
On the occasion, Laba Thapa from the Artist Forum, Rana Bahadur Saud from the Youth Coordinator, and other speakers urged central body of the organization to bring plans aimed at smoothening NRN relationship with stakeholders and community members.
