The new committee was formed at a special program attended by Hira Paudel, Labor Attaché at Nepalese mission in UAE. On the occasion Paudel called for jointed and coordinated efforts of all organizations to assist in providing better working conditions to Nepalese women working in the UAE.

Coordinator Basnet while appreciating the efforts of NRN in assisting Nepalese diasporas across the globe pledged to work in the welfare of Nepalese women workers, which she claimed were increasingly getting out of their households and coming to foreign lands to earn a living for their family back at home.
