‘No protest against Constitution Day by SSFN’, clarifies DPM Yadav

BIRATNAGAR: Sanghiya Samajbadi Forum Nepal (SSFN) Chairman and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Health, Updendra Yadav, has clarified that there would be no any programme in his party to protest the Constitution Day.
The Constitution Day falls on every Ashoj 3 of Nepali month commemorating the day when a national charter was promulgated in 2015.
Talking to the journalists in Biratnagar, Morang, DPM Yadav asserted that his party had already contested in the three-tier elections accepting the constitution.
According to him, the process to consider amendment in the constitution over the issue disapproved by his party was initiated hence, he argued, that there was no point in protesting the constitution.
He also commented that there was no significance of the press statements released by the cadres of those party dissenting the constitution.
Furthermore, the DPM Yadav said that an investigation team was formed in his Ministry to examine the error in the transfer of some health workers. He also assured that the culprit in that case would be brought to book. RSS
