Some of the sister organizations affiliated to the UCPN Maoist on Monday accused the newly formed CPN Maoist leaders of hurting public sentiments by splitting the party at a time when the nation was passing through an important transition.
A joint press release of ethnic, regional and public relation organization of the party claimed that Baidya and his groups decision to split the party was unpatriotic, and claimed that such a separatist move justified that they had deviated from the revolutionary ideologies, nation and responsibility.
” They have attempted to attack on the achievements of people’s war and people’s revolt by forwarding claims to conserve secularism, republicanism, federalism and social justice,” the press release stated.
They have also urged all those ‘who had lost their ways and joined the Baidya faction’ for returning to their roots and take over their earlier responsibilities.
