‘New constitution will cater to everyone’s aspirations’
Addressing a seminar on state restructuring, federalism and ILO-169 organised by the Indigenous Nationalities’ District Coordination Committee, Rupandehi here today, he said the peace and constitution will take concrete shape as the work related to the army integration has almost reached the final leg.
He said the army integration has been carried out in the right manner by the party leadership in the present context and that the issue of army integration was not a topic that is carried out riding on sentiments.
The minister also stressed that the state restructuring would be carried out by incorporating the sentiments of the indigenous nationalities community, adding that federalism and state restructuring were different aspects.
He said the federal provinces would be delineated on ethnic line. RSS
