Nepal’s ministries submit policy and program report

KATHMANDU: Review of the policy and programs of 18 ministries concluded on Thursday at the annual review program of the policy and programs for the current fiscal year 2075/76 BS.
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli chaired the program.
The review of the remaining five ministries will conclude on Friday. Secretaries presented the progress report and review of their respective ministries.
The implementation of the policy and programs of most of the ministries were satisfactory and only a few ministries could not meet their target due to the lack of budget and resources, the PM’s Public Relations Advisor Achyut Mainali said.
The review meeting will resume tomorrow at 1 pm and Prime Minister Oli is scheduled to make his concluding remarks after the five secretaries present the work progress and review related to their ministries.
The PM’s Secretariat said that the Prime Minister would also issue directions to the ministries during his concluding remarks. Besides Prime Minister Oli, all ministers and secretaries at the ministries attended the meeting.
