Nepali Congress CC meeting passes three proposals

KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress’ central committee meeting on Friday passed three proposals to be submitted to the mahasamiti meeting.
The CC meeting held at party office passed the political, organizational and internal financial documents incorporating the suggestions, said central member Ram Krishna Yadav.
Vice President Bimalendra Nidhi had presented the political proposal in the CC meeting while General Secretary Dr Sashank Koirala the organizational proposal, another General Secretary Purna Bahadur Khadka the statute amendment proposal, Joint General Secretary Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat the proposal on financial policy and Treasurer Sita Devi Yadav the international financial report.
The mahasamiti meeting is beginning tomorrow.
The meeting also decided to make mahasamiti members to 200 people and observers to 150 from the then Nepal Loktantrik Forum Party led by NC Vice President Bijaya Kumar Gachchhadar, said Yadav. On the occasion, President Deuba pledged to end disputes stemming from statute amendment through consensus.

The meeting will be attended by approximately 1,600 representatives including elected mahasamiti members from the then 240 constituencies, central members, well wishers and sister organisations, representatives of public relations committees abroad, elected and sitting central members and observers.
