Prabesh KC, Nepali British ascends counselor at Aldershot town in UK
LONDON: Nepali British has got the success in the British history in establishing themselves in the British mainstream politics. Young Nepali British Entrepreneur Prabesh KC is elected for the post of counselor at Wellington, Aldershot town in UK with 328 votes. Community activist Mr. Yogen Chhetry, who has been involved in Non Resident Nepali Association, (NRNA) movement respond the victory of Prabesh KC as a pleasant news. According to him it will set the appropriate precedent to prove that Nepali–British can be established in British mainstream politics.
KC was elected by the local election-2019 in UK held at the Council, City Hall on Friday for the next 5 years. This is the greatest success in the phenomenon of involvement of mainstream Britain politics. However, there were other various approaches which had vibrated the Britain base Nepali Society in the past like the candidacy registered by Dr Bachchu Kailash Kaini for British Parliament Election in 2017.
Entrepreneur KC is contesting the Wellington, Aldershot town for the Conservatives – and having served his country for one decades as community activist.
