Nepal welcomes summit meeting between US President Trump and DPRK Chairman Kim
KATHMANDU: Nepal has welcomed the summit meeting held between President Donald J. Trump of the United States of America and Chairman Kim Jong Un of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea in Singapore today and the joint statement issued thereafter.
Issuing a press release today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said Nepal believes that the momentum generated by this summit will be followed through and hopes that the commitments contained in the statement will be implemented to pave the way for lasting peace and stability on the Korean peninsula.
