CPN(UML) has decided to activate the talks team formed under party’s senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal to take initiative for a consensus government. The meeting of the politburo of the UML decided to make more efforts for forging consensus on national unity government in line with the President’s call.
Welcoming the President’s call for a consensus, the meeting has termed the cabinet’s decision of opposing the President’s call as an attempt to cling to power of the Prime Minister.
Likewise, the party has decided to call its central committee meeting on December 10-12, 2012 to take stock of the current political issues.
