Nepal stands at 174th Position in FIFA Ranking

Kathmandu: Nepal has plunged four positions in the FIFA World Raking for the month of February 2013 and stood at 174th position with 80 points.

Nepal had climbed one spot up to stand in 170th position with 83 points in the FIFA World Ranking for the month of January.

According to the Apex body of football, Maldives has topped the chart among South Asian countries ranking 159th while the position of India is 167th, Bangladesh 169th, Pakistan 170th, Afghanistan 189th, Sri Lanka 193th and Bhutan 207th.

Nepal had lost two friendly matches with Pakistan recently. It was at 189th spot in the previous month’s FIFA ranking. Spain tops the list while Germany and Argentina are in second and third spots respectively in FIFA Ranking
