Nepal lost to Qatar in AFC U-23 Championship
KATHMANDU: Nepal made second consecutive defeat and left out from the qualifying round of Asian Football Confederation (AFC)’s U-23 Football Championship.
Qatar outshined Nepal 5-0 in the football tournament held at Sports City Centre in Doha of Qatar last night. Nepal’s hope to go through qualifying round from Gourp ‘A’ has dented with the loss. Earlier, Nepal was defeated by Oman
To the victory of Qatar, captain Wasam Ul Rabi and Abdullah Ulharq netted two each and Nepal made a suicide goal.
