NEFIN Secy issues death threats to journalists

KATHMANDU: Nepal Federation of Indigenous Nationalities (NEFIN) General Secretary Aang Kaji Sherpa has warned to retaliate journalists and issued particular death threats to Reporter’s Club president Rishi Dhamala on Sunday.

Sherpa had reached there to participate in a face to face program organized centered on the band called by NEFIN.

Dhamala confirmed that along with Federation of Nepalese Journalits, Sherpa warned to not spare Dhamala and journalists who protested against his expressions.

Sherpa not only challenged the free press but alleged that the news disseminated by the mainstream medias are bias, and prevent objective consideration of the situation.

“The issues of janajatis have been sidelined due to the bias role played by journos,” blamed Sherpa.

Minister for Information and Communications Raj Kishor Yadav and Laxman Tharu also witnessed Sherpa’s misconduct.
