NC’s stance as it is on HoR meeting

KATHMANDU: The parliamentary party (PP) meeting of the opposition Nepali Congress (NC) has upheld its stand of asking questions to Prime Minister on contemporary issues.
The meeting on Tuesday concluded that the Speaker did not allocate time to NC lawmakers in Sunday’s House of Representatives meeting.
According NC whip Pushpa Bhusal, the HoR meeting should resume from the same point it was postponed at on Sunday.
Earlier, chief whip Balkrishna Khand briefed the PP meeting of the details of Sunday’s HoR meeting.
Similarly, Party President Sher Bahadur Deuba directed the lawmakers to remain alert on the shortcoming of the government.
The next meeting of the HoR is scheduled at 1:00 pm Wednesday.
