NC tenders resignation of its minister to PM

KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress this morning submitted the resignation letters of the Deputy Prime Minister Krishna Prasad Sitaula and Minister Suryaman Gurung to the prime minister for necessary action.
The party had sent Sitaula and Gurung in the government on its behalf. The resignation letters of the two Nepali Congress nominees were submitted to Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai at UCPN (Maoist) chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal’s house when the UCPN (Maoist) was holding a meeting, said Laxman Dhakal, NC president Sushil Koirala’s personal assistant.

The Nepali Congress had called back Sitaula and Gurung from the government on Thursday. RSS
