NC stands against Budget ordinance

KATHMANDU: The central working committee meeting of the Nepali Congress has concluded that the present government must not bring any act and budget through ordinance.

Informing media about the meeting held at Sanepa on Monday, central member Arjun Narsing KC said the meeting decided that present government which already lost constitutional and moral grounds must not bring budget through ordinance without forging consensus.

The party has expressed grave concern over the preparation the Prime Minister was making for foreign visit.

Leader KC added that the party would meet next day at 1:00 pm to discuss broader unity in the party.

Moreover, the meeting wished good health to ailing former prime minister Surya Bahadur Thapa. RSS
