NC leaders KC, Acharya held for obstructing road widening

Kathmandu, Mar. 10: Police has arrested Nepali Congress leaders duo Narahari Acharya and Bal Bahadur KC this morning, saying they obstructed the expansion of road in the capital.
They and ten other local Congress workers were taken under control, said police, while they obstructed in the Gairidhara road portion in the capital while expanding roads.
They have been kept at the Metropolitan Police Sector Singhadurbar, said Sector’s Assistant Police Inspector Padam Khatri.
Locals have been protesting the expansion of road including at Gairidhara, and Lajimpat demanding proper compensation to the land owners around the road while expanding roads. RSS
