NC leader Banstola undergoing surgery of Brain hemorrhage
Doctors at Neuro Hospital, Siliguri, India have started operating on Nepali Congress leader Chakra Banstola since 6:00 pm, Saturday, said his nephew Tara Banstola.
He was admitted to the hospital after suffering from brain hemorrhage today itself. A team led by Dr. Siddhiraj Sharma is said to be carrying out the surgical operation.
Banstola, 68, was rushed to BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences after he suddenly fell ill while participating in a program this morning. The program was organized by Banstola Society at Birat Chowk, Morang district.
The doctors at the BPKIHS referred Banstola to some other hospital after he was diagnosed of suffering a brain hemorrhage. He was then taken to Siliguri.
