NC central committee meeting continues

KATHMANDU: Eight central members spoke at the central executive committee meeting on Thursday of the Nepali Congress that is taking place with a focus on proposed amendment to the party’s statute.
The meeting was held at the party’s central office under the chairmanship of party president Sher Bahadur Deuba. The party’s statute is being amended as per the new federal structure of the country.
The amendment proposal was tabled at the meeting by drafting committee coordinator Purna Bahadur Khadka on November 25. The CEC is meeting since November 29 and will meet next at 11:00 am tomorrow, according to chief secretary of the party Krishna Prasad Poudel.
