National consensus utmost for development: Chairman Dahal

CHITWAN: Ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Chairman and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said the national consensus was essential for development and prosperity in the country.
While inaugurating the golden jubilee celebration of Kiran Amarjung Secondary School at Bharatpur-19 in the district, the former Prime Minister added that the great changes were achieved in the past through national consensus and it was still essential for development and property as well.
He said they were holding discussions with main opposition Nepali Congress for national consensus in various national agenda and issues.
Chairman Dahal also shared that the remaining tasks of the peace process could be finalized through national consensus.
On a different note, he committed to developing the Bharatpur Metropolitan City as the model city in the county.
