Naryani river claims child
KATHMANDU: A child, who had gone to collect wood brought downstream by the swollen Narayani river, has gone missing since Thursday.
Eight-year-old Arman Miyan of Ramnagar, Paklihawa-2 had joined his friends to collect wood from the flooded river when the incident took place, according to the District Police Office, Nawalparasi.
Every monsoon locals here collect trees brought downstream by the Narayani river and stock it for us as firewood throughout the year, it is learnt. RSS
