At a programme organized to welcome then leaders and cadres associated with Naya Shakta Party Nepal into the NCP, Chairman Dahal said he had initiated the mission of uniting communist parties in view of the historic need and people’s aspiration for development and prosperity. “Nepali people and NCP have hoped a lot from the unification of two big communist parties. It was trust of people on the communist force that reflected in the two-thirds majority to this government,” he reminded, adding that it was however challenging to bring all communists together.

The Chairman further said a historic responsibility to ensure prosperity to create solid base to the socialism in the country is on NCP. He underscored the need that unification of all communists would help establish socialism.

The Chairman also assured that the new entrants would be given proper responsibilities.

Moreover, Chairman Dahal underscored the need of creating a single communist centre in the country by wiping out past malaise in the communist movement.
