Minister calls for relocating educational institutions to rural areas
KATHMANDU: Minister for Education Dinanath Sharma while claiming that the universities and academic institutions have been urban centric has stressed the need of relocating them to rural areas.
Speaking at a program in the capital on Friday, the Minister stressed on the need to restructure the national education system to make it more productive and profitable to people of rural areas.
He claimed that increased commercialization of educational institutions was deteriorating the standards of education in the country.
