CPN UML Chairman Jhalnath Khanal

KATHMANDU: CPN UML Chairman Jhalnath Khanal has said that he has been putting his best efforts to make May 27 pleasant and historical by promulgating the new constitution.

Responding to local politicians and civil representatives of Kanchanpur district on Saturday, Khanal said that parties were presently in intense discussion to resolve disputes seen in the constitution writing process.
He said that there was no alternative other than to promulgate the new constitution and claimed that parties were nearing consensus on most of the disputed issues.
