Maoists have deviated from Marxism to ethnicism: Singh

KATHMANDU: General Secretary of CPN (Mashal) General Secretary Mohan Bikram Singh has claimed that deviation of the Maoists from Marxist and Lennist ideologies to ethnicity was the main factor behind the dissolution of the Constituent Assembly.
Singh accused the Maoist of walking off the pact even after agreeing upon the 11-state multi identity proposal. Singh said that cast-politics and power politics hindered the achievements of ‘People’s War’. He said that the public has to pressurise the Maoists to straighten their wrongdoings now.
Talking to the mediapersons at Nepalgunj Singh said, “Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal tried to capture the Presidency by playing the cards of ethnicism.”
