Maoist urge UML for flexibility

KATHMANDU : The UCPN-Maoist and the CPN-UML held a meeting to discuss issues related to the army integration, peace process and constitution writing.

At the meeting held at the CPN-UML Parliamentary Party office in Singha Durbar premises on Wednesday, the Maoist party urged the CPN-UML to observe flexibility on army integration, CPN-UML leader Bhim Rawal said.

During the meeting, Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal expressed the commitment to an immediate conclusion of the peace process.

Dahal and Prime Minister Dr. Baburam Bhattarai from the UCPN-Maoist and senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal, leader KP Sharma Oli, General Secretary Ishwor Pokhrel and leader Rawal from the CPN-UML had taken part in the meeting. (RSS)
