Maoist students shutdown schools to avenge attack on cadres

RUKUM: Schools, colleges and other educational institutions in Rukum district remain closed today due to the indefinite closure of the educational institutions enforced by the All Nepal National Independent Students Union (Revolutionary).

All Nepal National Independent Students Union (Revolutionary), Rukum district chapter called for the indefinite closure of educational institutions in protest against an attack on three of its members.

ANNISU (R), the student wing of the ruling UCPN (Maoist), organized the closure to protest the attack on its members and demanding action against the attackers. The attack took place during a meeting being held at the Musikot Khalanga Multiple Campus on Wednesday.

The market and transport services were closed on Wednesday due to a shutdown called by the ANNISU (R). RSS
