Maoist leader denies to abroad for medical treatment

KATHMANDU: Maoist politburo member Nand Kishor Pun had denied going abroad for receiving medical treatment. Pun is presently undergoing treatment at Nepal Medical College in Kathmandu.

His party was preparing to arrange an air ambulance for taking him to India for treatment. His both kidneys have not been functioning properly.

In a press release Pun has said that ” though physicians involved in my treatment, my party comrades and my relatives are preparing to take me abroad fro treatment, I wish that my treatment be done here in my own country. I am not in mood to go abroad for treatment.

Pun has also expressed concern on the ongoing rifts within the party that has neared split.
