Maoist created current crisis to capture state power: UML Leader Gautam
CPN (UML) Vice-chairperson Bamdev Gautam has accused the ruling alliance for creating the constitutional and political crisis in the country. He said that the Maoist has created such crisis with an intention to capture the state power.
Speaking at a press-meet in Nepalgung, Gautam said, “The nation has been held a hostage to the indecision as the state power is in the hand of those who are not in favor of political consensus and are for a single-party dictatorship.”
Claiming that the current government was the obstacle to political consensus, he urged the government to make its decision clear whether or not it wants to forge political consensus.
“The opposition parties would topple the government through street protests if the government continued obstructing the formation of national consensus government,” he added.
