Maoist Centre leader Mahara registers candidacy for Speaker

KATHMANDU: CPN (Maoist Centre) leader Krishna Bahadur Mahara registered his candidacy for the post of a Speaker of the House of Representatives. He visited the New Baneshwor-based Federal Parliament Building where the Office of Election Officer is based to register his candidacy which is supported by CPN (UML) leader and former Speaker Subash Chandra Nembang, and seconded by Maoist Centre leader Dev Gurung.
Talking to media-persons shortly after his candidacy filing, he pledged to being committal towards the enforcement of the constitution and formulation of new laws.
