Maoist cadres clash
POKHARA: Rim Basyal, member of Tamuwan State Committee and President of United Nepal Transport Workers Union, Kaski was severely beaten by some cadres close to Maoist Chairman in Pokhara.
Basyal who is supposed to be aligned with Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai, was beaten till he went unconscious at YCL Chowk in Pokhara and was later taken to Fewa City Hospital.
Earlier Basyal had confronted Rudra Gautam, an aide of the Prachanda, on opening Kaski Nagar Bus Byabasai Samiti and the victims side has accused Gautam’s team of the attack.
