Manmohan Adhikari commemorated

KATHMANDU: Manmohan Memorial Foundation has organized a programme here today on the 13th death anniversary of the late Prime Minister and the then chairman of CPN (UML), Manmohan Adhikari.

Speaking on the occasion, UML chairman Jhalanath Khanal said Adhikari’s life was simple and full of high morals. Khanal said Adhikari’s contribution to democracy was incredible adding that present political leadership should follow Adhikari’s ideals.

Likewise, Foundation’s chairman and leader of UML, Bharatmohan Adhikari said image of the late Adhikari was untainted and his whole life was devoted to the country and democratic movements, thereby the former Prime Minister Adhikari was an established and popular leader.

Director of the Foundation Govinda Gajurel said leader Adhikari played vital roles to lead country’s communist and democratic movement.

On the occasion, UML leader Madhav Kumar Nepal, UML Vice-chairman Bamdev Gautam, general secretary Ishwor Pokhrel, Pradip Gyawali and others were present. RSS
