London embassy promote Lumbini VY
London: Nepal’s embassy here has escalated efforts to promote Lumbini Visit Year-2012. Recently the embassy organized a interaction-cum-cultural program to promote the cause.
Speaking on the occasion, ambassador Dr. Suresh Chandra Chalishe claimed that Nepal was one of the best tourist destinations for European and American tourists.
During the program participated by famous travel writers and journalists, Chalishe claimed Nepal was one of the secure destinations and further asserted “the breath taking Himalayan range, rafting, bunjy jumping, paragliding and sight seeing” are the best assets of Nepal for its tourists.
The event also presented a documentary that detailed out the tourism possibility in Nepal.
Miss Stephene Grosser presented ‘The Great Himalayan Trail’ documentary and Miss Siyan Prichard and Bob Gibonson made a slide presentation of materials themed ‘Nepal Paradise for Tourism’.
Along with the presentation Tamudhi London presented cultural dances of Sherpa and Tamang community on the occasion.
