Lightining kills teen in Sindhupalchowk

CHAUTARA: Lightning accompanied by storm claimed a life at Piskar in Sindhupalchowk district last night. The deceased has been identified as Surendra Thami, 17, of Piskar VDC-3, according to the District Police Office.

The lightning killed him on the spot while he was going to maternal home in Ghumaunedanda.

Some five people were also injured in the incident, said police.

Police added that some cattle also died at Irkhu VDC due to lightning. RSS
