Let’s not bother Prez by requesting deadline time and again: PM
Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai has said that the parties should not bother the Presidnet by requesting time and again to extend the deadline for the national consensus. Speaking at an all-party-meeting held by President Dr Yadav at his own residence Shital Niwas, Prime Minister Dr Bhattarai has proposed holding the Constituent Assembly election on the second week of Jestha.
“We should not be trouble him (President) by requesting time and again to extend the deadline,” a leader present at the meeting quoted PM Dr Bhhatarai as saying. He has proposed to find an outlet by the leaders of the political parties by forging agreement on holding election of the CA by second week of the Jestha.
PM Dr Bhattarai has floated such proposal today morning during PM Dr Bhattarai has also said that parties should build consensus on fixing the date of the CA election along with fulfilling the vacant posts of the Constitutional bodies through political consensus. He has also reiterated his stance that the leadership of the yet-to-be-formed national consensus government should be given to the small parties or Madhesi front. If the consensus isn’t forged even in these two alternatives than the government leadership should be given to the independent person, according to PM Dr Bhattarai.
