Leading lights disapper into cozy ambience of a resort suppose to be working

N24, KATHMANDU: Sushil Koirala, Jhala Nath Khanal and Prachanda have found a scenic resort to chill out.

Congress leader and two former prime ministers, respectively have moved into a luxurious resort in Kavre for two nights stay. Oh yes incumbent prime minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai too will be joining them.

And if you have not yet figured out why, the excuse is to evolve consensus on the fundaments of the new constitution which is proving elusive, amid doubt that it may never come.

They will take up vital issues of state restructuring, structure of judiciary and political system under the new constitution. What has failed to come through within the premises of the constitutent assembly is being thrashed up in a resort.

And they have billed the same as a “secret meeting” with even local porters knowing about it all. A high drama in a scenic resort while glasses tingle. Menu appears to be choicest chicken breast with Vodka and champaigne to go.

They will not be alone though. There will be at least seven rats each representaing their parties. They are suppose to be helping their leading lights. The stay comes free.

Of course this does not include sychophants, hanger ons and butlers who will be as happy as mice inside the ball of cheese. Local daily has put the number at 200 at the veritable feast.
