Leader Singh assures of constructive support in government’s good efforts

BUTWAL: Nepali Congress leader Prakashman Singh has said the government would have the party’s constructive support in its good efforts and campaign for prosperity.
Speaking at a press meet organised in Butwal by the Nepal Press Union, Rupandehi Sunday, he said the party would not remain mum if any attempt was made to suppress the democratic norms and values.
Commenting over Prime Minister’s KP Sharma Oli’s state visit to India, he said the visit could not be termed successful and historic right now, it would turn successful provided that the Nepali people could feel the essence of implementation of bilateral agreements made during the visit.
Party’s unchanged organizational structure in the aftermath of implementation of federalism in the country and delay in taking other intra-party decisions regarding the appointment of office bearers and formation of departments were reasons behind the party’s unexpected defeat in the recent elections.
He insisted on the change in party leadership, organizational strengthening and ideological clarity to make the party competitive in the days to come. RSS
