Leader Poudel sings protest tune

Nepali Congress Vice-president Ram Chandra Poudel has warned to topple the government from the street protest if consensus is not forged within five days of deadline provided by the President to form a national consensus government.
“The opposition parties will make serious efforts towards building consensus within the five days deadline of the President Dr Ram Baran Yadav,” leader Poudel added, “we would be compelled to launch stern street protest if incumbent government did not pave the way for consensus through dialogue and consensus.”
At a press meet organized by Nepal Press Union, Chitwan in Narayangarch today morning, he informed that a meeting between the opposition parties will be held to chart out the street protest programs if consensus efforts goes into vain.
He also ruled out any chance for forging consensus within the deadline set by the President of late. “I have not seen any ray of hope to this moment,” Poudel noted.
