Lead parties meet differed till evening

KATHMANDU: The meeting of three major political parties and Samyukta Madhesi Morcha held today has been postponed for 5:00 pm Saturday.

Speaking to the media persons Chairman of the Unified CPN Maoist, Pushpa Kamal Dahal, said the political parties would forge consensus on the disputed issues appeared during the constitution writing process at any cost.

Similarly, General Secretary of the Nepali Congress, Krishna Prasad Sitaula, said the leaders of the major political parties in today’s meeting held discussion to forge consensus regarding the Unified CPN (Maoist) 10 federal states and seven federal states as proposed by Nepali Congress.

The CPN (UML) leader Bhim Rawal said the UML and other political parties would hold further discussion and meet again in the evening to final the contentious issues. RSS
