Late evening cabinet makes handful of decisions
KATHMANDU: The meeting of the Council of Ministers on Friday decided to form a committee under the convenorship of former Government Secretary Birendra Bahadur Deuja to carry out study on the status of implementation of the Kathmandu- Tarai Fast Track project.
The seven-member committee has been assigned to present the study report to the government within the next three months, said Education Minister Dinanath Sharma after the meeting.
According to Minister Sharma, the Cabinet meeting has granted the permission of operating the Country Office of International Air Transport Association in Nepal for the next five years.
Similarly, Babukaji Panta has been appointed the Executive Director of the National Dairy Development Board for four years.
Likewise, the meeting has approved the resignation tendered by Chairman of National Trading Ltd Board of Directors, Govinda Sharma Ghimire.
Besides, the meeting has decided to transfer the ownership of 15 bigaha of land belonging to the Hetuanda-based Timber Corporation Ltd to the name of Local Development Ministry and promoted Ram Awatar Saha of Engineering Service to Nepal Gazette first class officer. RSS
