Koirala tells Prez that budget not possible without consensus

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) President Sushil Koirala called on President Dr Ram Baran Yadav at the Rastrapati  Bhawan, Shital Niwas, on Monday.
During the meeting, matters relating to the latest political development in the country and the upcoming budget were discussed, it is learnt.

On the occasion, President Dr Yadav urged leader Koirala to find a way out to the present political crisis in the country on the basis of national consensus, said Koirala after the meeting.

Underlining the need of bringing a complete budget only after forging national consensus, the Congress president said that ad hoc government could not bring a complete budget.

“Nepali Congress will not support the budget lacking political consensus”,  he said. RSS
