CPN (UML) Chairperson Jhalanath Khanal has said that his party would move ahead to lead government if Congress isn’t ready for the purpose. Speaking at a press meet organized by Press Chautari Jhapa in Damak, he argues that though there are many aspirants for the PM inside his party, they are willing to back Congress led government first. However, if Congress doesn’t show its interest, according to him, UML will claim the leadership of government.
He also accused the Maoist for obstructing the consensus building process and not giving up its old strategy of state capture. He also claimed that the President will extend the deadline again for the formation of national consensus government.
