Jobseekers slams increase in health-check up consultancy charges
KATHMANDU: The All Nepal Progressive Migrant Workers’ Association affiliated to the CPN-Maoist has demanded that the Nepal Health Professional Federation immediately scrap the decision to increase the health check-up fees charged for the foreign job seekers.
The association has also slammed the federation’s decision to hike the health check-up free for the migrant workers.
The federation had decided to increase Rs 940 for men and Rs 1000 for women foreign job aspirants effective from the new fiscal year for their heath check-up before leaving for their countries of destination.
Coordinator of the association Bhim Prasad Chapagain said that effective monitoring and actions from the authorities concerned was required at international airport and in offices of the Department of Labour and manpower companies.
Chapagain said the association would launch a stern struggle against fraudulent agents and manpower companies. RSS
