Janamorcha paralyses life in East
KATHMANDU: Rashtriya Janamorcha Nepal’s band in some eastern districts of the nation has paralyzed normal life. RJN had called on the general strike to protest against adopting federalism in the new constitution and for timely promulgation of the new constitution and for conducting local body elections.
Educational institutions, market places, industries and transportation has remained closed in Ilam, Jhapa, Pachthar, Taplejung, Dhankuta, Morang, Bhojpur, Sunsari and other districts in the region.
Organizers claimed that they have allowed press, ambulance and international HR monitors and UN vehicles to ply on the roads.
