Janakpur blast victim succumbs to injuries

KATHMANDU: The death toll of bomb explosion at Ramananda Chowk in Janakpur has reached five. Seriously injured Dipendra Das, 35, died while undergoing treatment at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH) last night, according to the Hospital.
Four persons died in the bomb explosion on April 30, who were in peacefull sit-in protest at Ramananda Chowk demanding establishment of Mithila state.
Earlier, Bimal Sharan, Ranju Jha, Jhagaru Mandal and Krishna Upadhayay had lost their lives in the same incident.

Seriously injured Ramesh Thakur, Jamun Thakur, Dhirendra Mohan Jha, Raju Singh, Man Mohan Saha, Ram Babu Jha, Mahammad Wajir Shekh, Dipendra Das, Mukesh Yadav, Jay Shankar Thakur, Surendra Mandal, Sanjay Pariyar, Dilip Thapa and Prof. Parameshwor Kapad are undergoing treatment at the TUTH. RSS
