Interim Election government likely to get full shape today

KATHMANDU: Few days after the formation of the Interim Election Council headed by Chief Justice Khil Raj Regmi the Interim government is likely to get full shape today.

According to Annapurna Post daily, a leading daily newspaper, the Cabinet is being expanded as per the list of former bureaucrats forwarded by Pushpa Kamal Dahal, the coordinator of High-Level Political Committee to the Chairperson of Council Regmi on Sunday.

According to the source former bureaucrats, Ram Kumar Shrestha, Bijaya KC, Rameshwor Khanal, Balananda Paudel, Uday Nepali, Shreekanta Regmi, Dr. Sudha Sharma and Umakanta Jha among others are in the list.

Former secretary Ram Kumar is a friend of the UCPN-Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, while Bijaya is also a former secretary. Khanal resigned from the Finance Secretary citing differences with former Finance Minister Bharat Mohan Adhikari
