Infrastructure development as per PPP, says Mahat

Nepali Congress (NC) leader Dr Ram Sharan Mahat stressed the need to develop economic infrastructure as per the Public Private Partnership model.
Speaking at a workshop in Chitwan on Saturday, leader Mahat said the obstructions being caused to development works were the main problem of today.
He also stressed the urgency of enabling easy environment as the ongoing obstructions to the Upper Karnali and Arun Third hydropower projects would not allow opportunity for investment.
Nepal has abundant opportunity if environment is created for investors to make investment in a confident manner, he said, adding that the country could tap huge potentials of tourism, agriculture and rafting.
