Individual attack against leader isn’t people’s anger, says Deuwa
Nepali Congress Senior Leader Sher Bahadur Deuwa has said that it’s wrong to think an individual’s attack upon the leader as an anger of the people. Condemning the recent attack against the UCPN (Maoist) Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda, Leader Deuwa said the individual’s attack against Prachanda amounts to an anarchism rather that the expression of frustration.
Speaking at a news conference organized by the Nepal Press Union (NPU) on Sunday at Dhangadi, Deuba urged the Prime Miister Dr Baburam Bhattarai to take initiative to stop confrontation from taking place in the country. He said that the Prime Minister Dr Bhattarai should step down immediately to pave the way for consensus.
Leader Deuwa also claimed that there isn’t any dispute within the Congress for the candidate of Prime Minister. He said that Congress can present the name of candidate immediately from the party if Dr Baburam Bhattarai quits from the post.
